Open House Medical Center meets the most demanding requirements of several leading institutions in the field of Sexually Transmitted Infections: The Spanish Society of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology (SEIMC), the British Association for Sexual Health and HIV (BASHH) and the European Union through Jun IUSTI/OMS European STD list
Upon entering Open House, each physician undergoes specific training, including 240
hours of hands–on practice in medical consultations with patients. Additionally, they
receive thorough education on sexually transmitted infections, proper management of
each infection, recognition of atypical manifestations, and appropriate techniques for
conducting clinical histories to reach accurate diagnoses.
We operate based on internal clinical guidelines known as “Standardized Clinical Work
Procedures.” These guidelines cover topics such as relevant infections and common
scenarios we encounter. They represent a fusion of updates on each disease from
recent scientific publications and our clinical experience, ensuring high quality in our
medical consultations.
